The military bases and architectural styles of the Middle East often feature distinct regional characteristics, with tones primarily consisting of earthy colors such as sand and ochre, creating a strong visual impression. These colors are closely associated with the land, power, and history, symbolizing deep cultural heritage and solid defenses.

 Wang Changcheng chose to use fragile paper trays, which closely resemble the colors and shapes of these traditional military base buildings, as the material. Drawing inspiration from the windows and doors of Middle Eastern architecture, he employed hollow carving techniques to construct this “military base” form.
